I know I have been MIA for a while. Reason behind that is my re-location to the United States. Its been crazy three weeks and I was most often (:P) dead on my feet with all the settling in activities. Finally I had some breathing space to get a post up pronto!!! So here I am 😉 😉
Most of us by now would be very familiar with the brand Za (zee-ei) from the House of Shiseido. Za skin care range was launched in India somewhere around April last year. It includes two variants – True White and Perfect Solution ranges. True white range targets skin radiance whereas Perfect Solution range is intended for youth retention. Today I will be reviewing the Za True White cleansing foam face wash.
This brightening Cleansing Foam is enriched with ZA Prism Enhancing System that enhances brightness and clarity. Its effective Vitamin C granules smoothly removes excess cells containing melanin for touchable soft skin, removing impurities leaving skin feeling refreshed.
Price 349 INR for 100 g
Directions For Use
Squeeze a small amount onto palm and work into a lather using cool or lukewarm water. Gently massage over face in circular motion. Rinse thoroughly.
What I think
The Za cleansing foam comes in an simple white and pink plastic tube with a flip open cap. The cap closes with a definite click making it leakage proof and thereby quite travel friendly.
Texture & Fragrance
The cleanser has a thick consistency and contains some fine yellow beads for gentle exfoliation. The beads are however few in number and are not at all abrasive making it very gentle on the skin. It has a serene refreshing fragrance that I completely love.
A small amount of the product lathers quite a lot giving a squeaky clean look without making the skin too dry. You can literally hear the squeaking sound as you wash off the cleanser (:D). This definitely gives me the satisfaction of having done a good face wash routine. I have combination skin and this product is not at all drying on my normally dry cheeks. It’s a known fact that products which lather a lot are meant to suck away all the oiliness from the skin but with this product, that is not the case. So those with dry skin, you don’t have to worry about this being too drying.
It also lives up to its claim of removing light makeup at least the washable ones, leaving the skin soft, supple and fresh. It also adds brightness to the face. I haven’t faced any breakouts while using this product.
To sum it up, it’s an excellent cleanser that washes away all the dirt and washable makeup giving the skin a gorgeous glow. It doesn’t make the skin dry at all albeit being too foamy.
