Hi Guys,
Today I will be reviewing my absolute favorite toner of all time that I have been repurchasing since ages. It’s the Kaya Skin Clinic Purifying toner.
Product Description
Purifying Toner is an alcohol free toner formulated with Mandelic acid, which gently exfoliates and helps unclog pores. Botanical extracts of Cucumber, Witch Hazel and Rose along with skin soothing agents help control excess sebum, tighten your pores and reduce irritation leaving your skin comfortable and refreshed. The toner further prepares the skin for treatment of acne.

What I think
Packaging
The Kaya Purifying Toner comes in a white opaque plastic bottle with a transparent semi plastic cap. The cap is a little flimsy causing it to come off easily. This doesn’t favor for a travel friendly packaging. The bottle comes with a spray pump which sprays out the right amount of product without excessive wastage.

Texture & Fragrance
It has a thin watery consistency that spreads on the skin giving a cool soothing feeling which is absolutely refreshing after a tiring day. It has an invigorating fresh fragrance that is a treat to the senses.

Worth factor
The toner works really well in removing any traces of grime and leftover cleanser. It makes the skin superbly clean and for my combination skin with usually dry cheeks (except in summer), it’s not at all drying. As I don’t have any visible pores on my face, I can’t vouch for the pore tightening aspect. However it does live up to its claim of reducing irritation as it has worked on reducing a few redness here and there. It also controls oil on the T-zone adequately. The toner has a very intelligent ingredient – Mandelic acid that treats acne, blemishes and blackheads. It has definitely contributed in lightening a few dark spots I had on my face. It’s not an overnight miracle product but does work well on the skin at a slow pace. The best part about the product is its alcohol free and thereby wouldn’t strip the skin of all its moisture.
In general we tend to associate toners to oily skin. But believe me, toner is an essential component in your skin care regimen – be it dry skin, combination skin or oily skin. Each one of us who use facial scrubs/cleansers should follow the ritual with a toner. Toner helps in repairing the skin’s surface that is exposed post scrubbing/cleansing. Using the right toner formulated for your skin type is the key.
To sum it up, kaya purifying toner works well on making the skin healthy over a period of time. Being alcohol free is a big plus point as toners with alcohol are extremely drying on the skin and harmful in the long run.

Pros
- Thin watery consistency
- Each spray dispenses right amount of product
- Revitalizes skin and makes it super clean
- Reduces skin irritations
- Lightens blemishes overtime
- Alcohol free formula
- Non drying
- Pleasant refreshing fragrance
- Easily available
Cons
- Flimsy cap doesn’t make the product travel friendly
- Takes time to show results
- Contains Parabens
Recommendation
It’s a great product from the Kaya skin clinic range that is alcohol free and will definitely work for all skin types. Though the results are slow, it works well for the skin at a steady pace. The toner comes with a slightly expensive price tag but given the results, I don’t really mind shelling out 325 bucks!
