What I think
Packaging
The Loreal Night cream comes in a sturdy glass jar with a screw on lid. The glass jar is quite heavy giving it a luxury feel. It is however not travel friendly unless you cushion it carefully. Also being a tub, it’s quite unhygienic as you have to dip your fingers to get the product. You could always use a spatula to scoop out the product but I really don’t have the patience to do that always :P. The jar has a white plastic lid covering the mouth. This prevents product traces from getting deposited on the inside of the lid.

Texture & Fragrance
The cream has a velvety light texture and is very hydrating on the skin. It spreads effortlessly onto the skin and gets absorbed quickly without leaving behind any greasiness. The non greasy formula will equally suit dry as well as oily skin types and anything in between. Fragrance wise, it has a fresh delicate floral scent that is quite soothing to the senses. The scent has the right amount of potency for a night cream.

Worth factor
A small amount of the product goes a long way. The tub will easily last you 5 to 6 months. Upon absorption, skin feels much hydrated. The cream gives a cooling sensation which is extremely soothing to the skin. Once I wake up in the morning, I find my skin appears quite radiant and supple. It feels very smooth to touch and there is definitely a bounce to the skin. It has also worked steadily on lightening a few spots I had on my face. It is in no way a whitening product per se but with regular use, it does brighten up the overall complexion. I haven’t faced any breakouts with this cream. It would have been a HG night cream if at all there was an added ingredient Retinol. I have tried a sample of the Loreal Revitalift cream but found it too heavy for my skin.
To sum it up, it’s an excellent light textured night cream that absorbs easily giving instant hydration without leaving behind any oiliness. On waking up, skin definitely looks radiant, soft and supple.
