What I think
Packaging
The Oriflame feet up raspberry scrub comes in a functional pale pink squeeze tub packaging with a screw on cap. The cap sits tight enough making it leak proof and perfectly travel favorable.

Texture
It has a thick gel texture with sparsely distributed exfoliating particles. The particles are non-abrasive so it feels gentle on the feet. The product is bright red in color that reminds me of strawberry jams :P. A pea sized amount will lather up enough to clean the foot.

Fragrance
The strawberry jam resemblance stops right in the appearance! The scrub has a strong cough syrup odor which I am not a fan off. Good thing is it wears off post wash.

Worth factor
The best results to gain from this product would be to use it in combination with a foot brush, something that comes with a pedicure set. A thorough brushing removes all the dirt and grime as well as dead skin from the soles leaving behind fresh clean skin. I do feel dryness post wash. So I make it a point to go over with a foot cream like Freeman barefoot foot cream I have reviewed here. It replenishes the soles with some much needed moisturization. As far as the skin color improvement claim goes, I have been using this product since a few months and I haven’t seen any such miracles. I don’t think it is possible to change the skin tone unless its de-tanning that is implied here.
To sum it up, this is a fuss free foot scrub that comes in handy on those days you want to get quick clean feet. As for the formula, I would much rather use a cream based scrub that will impart some softness without being drying.
Swatches

Pros
- Non abrasive formula
- Travel friendly packaging
- Small amount of product will suffice
- Removes dirt, grime and dead skin
Cons
- Quite drying
- Cough syrup odour
- Doesn’t do anything on the color glorifying aspect
- Availability
Recommendation
For those of you who religiously follow up with a foot cream, you can give this a try. Others should skip it and invest in a cream based formula especially during winters. Personally I like and prefer cream based scrubs so I wouldn’t recommend it since I don’t feel the price is justified.
