What I think
Packaging
The Biotique Bio Berry Plumping lip balm comes in small leaf green tub packaging with a screw on lid. The mouth of the tub is protected by means of a thin white plastic lid.

Texture
The lip balm is quite waxy in texture. Waxy texture makes the product a little heavier on the lips. A small quantity is all you would need to cover the whole lips. Obviously there is no light/barely-there feel like that of Maybelline baby lips. It is however intensely moisturizing on the lips.

Fragrance
The lip balm has an appealing fruity scent that is not too intense and lasts only for a short time post application.
Shade
The lip balm is bright pink in color in the tub however it applies almost colorless on the lips. So pigmentation/coverage is not something you should be looking for in this balm.

Worth factor
The lip balm lives upto all its claims. It smoothens lips by removing all dryness. It adds plumpness to the lips and gives a more defined lip contour. Moreover, you get a whooping quantity of 16g at such an affordable price. I usually apply it at night and wake up with plump soft lips. However, it is not a treatment that is going to make your lips appear fuller and defined in the long term. As long as you use the product, it works it charms. It provides absolute hydration in winters too when most of us face extreme lip dryness. Suffice to say, the waxy texture doesn’t bode well for lipstick application since it just looks streaky and un-natural. It is best if used on its own.
To sum it up, I really really like this lip balm and it will definitely be one of the products I will keep in my stash always. Though I keep trying out new lip care products, I would definitely come back to this one. Except for the heavier formula I don’t find any other cons with this product.

Looking at the tub I thought the lip balm will give a nice shade. Disappointed it came out colourless.
