Directions for use
Smooth all over the face. Leave for 10-15 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

What I think
Lush Don’t look at me fresh face mask comes in the classic matte black tub packaging with a screw on lid. The mask has is not as thick as Lush’s other clay based masks. The water content is relatively more in this mask but that doesn’t mean it is runny. The product is quite grainy and needs to be massaged into the skin slowly. The particles are not soft and if not scrubbed gently might cause surface tears. It is very cooling and soothing on the skin. Being high on water content even with a clay base, it doesn’t dry up in 10-15 minutes. Fresh lemon juice as its ingredient is the dominating fragrance here. My experience with this mask was a disappointment. Once the mask is washed off, instead of revealing a “vibrant complexion”, all I could see was dull and lack lustre skin. Infact I felt my face looked way better before I put the mask on, talk about an anti-climax. Lemon in its natural form can sometimes tend to be too drying on the skin but I did not face any dryness related issues. It made my skin soft but not as soft as other face masks I have used in the past. I thought maybe my skin was having an off day so decided to give it a try a few days later but I experienced the same results. Needless to say, I won’t be going back for “more of this scrubby, softening skincare goodness”.

Recommendation
Personally, I wouldn’t recommend this mask. But everybody’s skin is different, so maybe it will work for you. I am not condemning this mask straight out since there are some pretty good reviews out there for this mask but unfortunately it doesn’t work for me.
