Covergirl Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss: Mutant NOTD

I am back with another NOTD – a fun one this time. Today I will be featuring the brand Covergirl. I came across this line completely by chance and ever since I have been hooked onto it. If you haven’t checked out my review on the brilliant shade Nemesis, check it out here

This shade is called Mutant (Shade no: 101) – its a bright indigo blue shade that adds the perfect blend of color to your nails if you are in the mood to shake up the scene. If you are a fan of Marvel’s X-MEN, then you would know Mystique and Beast – the beautiful and awesome blue mutants. The minute I saw this shade, I was reminded of them and I had to get it. First and foremost I love this shade since blue is my favorite color. So any color in this spectrum is a winner in my opinion. To check the longevity of the polish, I skipped a base coat as always. The texture is quite thick and applies opaque in one coat. However as usual I went with 2 coats. Being thick it takes a few minutes to dry up. It applies glossy and the shine amazingly remains until you remove it.

It lasted on my nails with no signs of any chipping for 6 days straight and started wearing off from the tips after. Keeping in mind this is not a gel formula, the longevity of the polish is spectacular with all household chores included.

Overall, Covergirl’s Outlast Stay Brilliant range has become one of my favorite nail polishes. Highly recommended!
