Valentia Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask Review
Hi Guys,
Today I have one more product from the brand Valentia. It is the Valentia Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask. My skin is being all angst-y at the moment owing to the cold weather here. Dry patches, stretchy feel, roughness – you name it, my facial skin has it. So you guys must have seen all the hydration masks I have been reviewing here on my blog since a couple of weeks. I was super excited to try the Ultra Plumping and Hydration Mask from Valentia to say the least.

What I think
Valentia Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask comes in an opaque plastic tub packaging. The lid screws in tightly preventing any unexpected leakage. From a hygiene perspective, a squeeze tube or pump packaging would have been ideal. The mask is mustard yellow in color and has a wobbly jelly like consistency. It spreads smoothly on the skin. The gel is high on moisture content so it doesn’t dry down completely. Initially while applying, the mask feels very cool on the skin – you will experience a tingling sensation that disappears in a about a minute or two. As recommended, you can leave it on for anywhere between 15 – 30 minutes. Valentia recommends a damp cloth and warm water to wash the mask off. It is easy enough to wash off with warm water alone. The mask plumps and firms the skin really well. It makes the skin extremely smooth. I don’t have any visible lines on my face to vouch for the wrinkle lifting aspect but going by its plumping and smoothening effect I would definitely say that it would work on aging skin. It adds a soft glow to the face. The fragrance is slightly intense with all the botanical extracts – not as pungent as the true glow eye cream but definitely hard to ignore. I haven’t yet got a chance to use it summers but I feel it will work just fine for combination/oily skin as well. For very dry skin in winters, this mask followed with a good moisturizer should keep the skin happy. It did not cause any breakouts on my skin. I think this mask will work well across all skin types. But the tingling sensation and fragrance is something those with sensitive skin and olfactory senses must consider before buying this mask.
Overall I really like everything about the Valentia Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask except for the fragrance. It is however a must have winter skin care product for me. It smoothens, softens, hydrates, firms and plumps skin. It also adds beautiful glow to the face. What’s not to like!!

Swatch

Pros
- Travel friendly tub
- Thick gel texture
- Plumps and hydrates skin really well
- Makes skin extremely soft and smooth
- Brightens up complexion
- Non acnegenic
Cons
- Intense fragrance
- Might not suit sensitive skin types
Recommendation
I would highly recommend this mask to those looking for a good plumping and moisturizing face mask. It has a tingling sensation that lasts a good minute or more so might not work for those with sensitive skin.

The mask sounds wonderful. I have mildly sensitive skin, but I’d still like to give this a try.
