Makeup Guide For Beginners
Hey Guys,
Hope all you fabulous people are having a great week. Roughly six years ago when I stumbled upon this wonderful universe of makeup, I was literally bogged down with the amount of products out there. The one question that plagued me was “What makeup should I buy as a newbie??” I had no freaking idea! All the help I got was from a couple of sales assistant ladies at makeup counters and a later on through a fellow makeup junkie turned bestie now 😉 So thinking back to those days has pushed me to write this post today. All you beginners out there need not panic; I’ve got your back. On another note, when I initially wrote this post, it ran into 1000+ words so I had to split it into two parts. This post will cover everything related to base makeup. We will cover all the good and exciting stuff in the next one, I promise.
Before we start, I want to assure all of you that these are going to be just suggestions and there is no hard and fast rule that you have got to follow these to the T.

Base makeup
For a beginner venturing into the world of makeup, the very first thing you need to do is even out your skin tone. Now they are a million products out in the market to cater to this. Basically what
you need to understand is whether you need a light or heavy coverage. For those with quite clear skin, a light amount of coverage is what you should be looking at. For that you could either opt for a tinted moisturizer or BB/CC creams or a sheer coverage foundation. For those of you with pigmented and blemish prone skin, go for a full coverage foundation.
