Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer
Today I am reviewing my all-time favorite high end concealer till date. I have been a loyal user of Mac Prolongwear concealer since late 2013. I never thought I would find or love another concealer more that Mac Prolongwear. Entering this game is Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer. Urban Decay’s marketing team has hit the nail with the name. There is no better name describe this concealer. It is a weightless full coverage formula.
Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer gives you buildable, even coverage with a luminous, demi-matte finish. Ultra-lightweight, this high-tech formula melds like a second skin to give you full coverage in an instant.
We loaded Naked Skin Concealer with lots of ingredients that are good for your skin. Matrixyl 3000 contains anti-wrinkle peptides to improve skin’s youthful appearance and elasticity. Japanese green tea revitalizes and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines. Litchiderm™ (derived from lychee fruit) protects against dehydration, resulting in a brighter, more radiant complexion. And sodium hyaluronate helps skin attract and retain moisture.

What I think
The Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer comes in an acrylic transparent tube packaging with a traditional doe foot applicator having a sponge tip. The applicator makes it pretty easy for dabbing the product around the eye contour as well as spot application. The wand is very flexible and deposits the right amount of product. You don’t need to dip multiple times. I love the fuss free packaging. The formula is thick and creamy but with lots of fluidity. It might seem very difficult to blend looking at how creamy it is but the formula is extremely lightweight as the name goes. The concealer is packed with so much pigment that you need a small amount to get the desired coverage. It blends beautifully. Even if needed and you pile a stroke or 2 more on top of the existing layer, it doesn’t cake up at all. It is also very moisturizing. I have normal to dry skin around eyes so unlike Mac Prolongwear which can be drying (matte finish), Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer wears so much better than the Mac counterpart. It sits perfectly on the skin and doesn’t settle into any fine lines. It is not all drying even after wearing pretty much the whole day. I think it’s the sodium hyaluronate in the contents that binds the moisture and keep the hydration level consistent throughout the day. It is waterproof and crease-proof. I use it around my nose and mouth and sometimes on blemishes it covers any imperfections brilliantly. Because of its hydrating nature, this will suit mature aging skin really well. Those with oily skin arounds eyes must set it with a powder which is a general norm and you should be fine for pretty much the rest of the day. This range being “Naked Skin” targets a skin like finish. Suffice to say this concealer is full coverage and looks exactly like skin but better. You can use your fingers, a blending brush or a damp beauty blender to set this concealer in place. Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer comes in 10 shades covering Light. Medium and Deep skin tones. Medium Neutral, Medium Dark Warm, Dark Neutral and Dark Golden shades will suit Indian skin tones. I use the shade Medium Dark Warm which has a perfect balance of yellow and orange undertones to take care of dark under eye pigmentation.
Overall, Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer is my top favorite concealer ever. It has a great formula, coverage and staying power. It is versatile enough to suit all skin types especially aging skin that has issues with lines and dryness. I don’t think I need to put a Pro/Con list. This is a solid winner!
Highly recommended! Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer is definitely a must try among all the high end concealers in the market. If you are a MAC Prolongwear loyalist, then this is a must buy since this concealer is a much better version not only in formula but in packaging as well. I think this concealer will work fine for those with oily skin as wonderfully it will work for those with dry skin.
