The Fragrance Outlet is not a new name to most of us. They have over a 100 stores spread all the over the continental US offering the widest selection of genuine designer fragrances. They had their first store launch in 1990 and since then have been embarking on a successful journey.
Recently The Fragrance Outlet have launched their online website and I was invited to preview the website. Here are my thoughts on their layout and overall process. The website is simple, easy to navigate and well designed. There are drop-down quick links to Sale pages, New Arrivals, Bestsellers etc. on the home page. You can sign up to become a registered member and avail 15% discount on your first transaction. Shipping in US is free for orders of $50 and above. Anything under, you will be charged a flat rate of $6.50 for standard shipping. There is a huge selection of brands available from big wigs like Armani, Dior, Gucci, Prada to Victoria Secrets, Estee Lauder and Revlon. My order came thoroughly bubble wrapped with multiple boxes and tissues for air spaces. The actual perfume bottle came in a double sealed box with a navy blue ribbon which I believe is how the offer gift wrapping option. I loved the packaging. Delivery was super quick. I placed my order on a Tuesday evening and I got my package on Thursday. You could either pay using a VISA or Mastercard or use your Amazon store card.
My overall experience shopping with them was quite smooth. In the past I have purchased from their store which is quite far from my place so the fact that I now have an online option is a definite plus. I have gradually limited my spending on fragrances from retailers like Sephora and Macys since they charge the market price unless there are discounts during promotional period. So keeping your list updated and ordering online where you’d get great discounts is so much easier on the wallet.
